Dr. Ayo Bankole
Dr. Ayo Bankole is a California State licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Physician Assistant. He uses the healing principles of treating the cause of disease and choosing therapies that support his patient’s innate healing system. Dr. Bankole treats a range of conditions including gastrointestinal problems, autoimmunity and diabetes. In practice he emphasizes treating injured and arthritic joints in athletes and non-athletes alike using Prolotherapy and Platelet-rich plasma. He designs customized heart wellness programs that include specialized testing, nutrition and chelation therapy. Having undergone post-graduate training and certification in environmental medicine he understands how even low level toxin exposure cause illness and therefore examines their role, ultimately employing strategies to purge toxins for health restoration. Dr. Bankole’s special interest in weight loss encouraged him to create a one of a kind Bio-Balance Health & Slimming System™ to address the hormonal imbalances, inflammation and toxins that led to overeating and fat storage.
Dr. Bankole has served as an academic instructor for the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts Nutrition Program. He has over a decade of medical experience working as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Kaiser Permanente Moreno Valley and Riverside, Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Arizona, and Prince George’s Hospital Center in Maryland.
Dr. Bankole received his Naturopathic Doctorate from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, and his undergraduate degree from Howard University in Washington, DC where he completed the Physician Assistant Program. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine, the California Naturopathic Doctors Association, and the American Academy for the Advancement of Medicine.
Dr. Bankole likes to spend his spare time listening to jazz music, attending plays and spending time in nature with his family.
Dr. Sasha Blissett, ND
Dr. Blissett is a California State licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a special interest in women’s and endocrine health. Her experience stretches the full spectrum of women’s health, from conception to menopause, and supporting the process of healthy aging. She has concentrated her studies in thyroid and digestive disorders and the use of nutrition, botanicals, and bio-identical hormones. Prior to relocating to California, she assisted in multiple home-births with Dr. Farra Swan, one of the first Naturopathic midwives in the southwestern United States.
Coming from the corporate health and wellness field with one of the largest well-being companies for the past seven years, Dr. Blissett has used her knowledge of naturopathic medicine, disease prevention, and lifestyle counseling to administer customized weight and stress management programs to help improve the overall well-being of her clients. She has also worked with her company’s empowerment learning team, collaborating with colleagues to help target more specific health concerns of its employees.
She particularly excels in personal trust building with patients. Her keen listening skill set helps her clearly understand her patient’s needs and goals. Her focus on strategic goal setting and personal support has contributed to her success. Dr. Blissett has also collaborated with Dr. Bankole on the Clean and Balanced Weight Loss program used at the Inland Naturopathic Medical Center.
She received her Naturopathic Degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona, and her bachelor’s degree from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida where she completed her Pre-med program. She completed a midwifery internship at Casa Nacimiento in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Blissett is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine and the California Naturopathic Doctors Association.
When she is not working or expanding her knowledge of natural health therapeutics, Dr. Blissett enjoys dancing, reading, traveling and catching up with her family in Florida and her native Jamaica.
Curcinda Young, Wellness Director
Curcinda or “Cinna” is our Wellness Director and Certified Health Coach.
She works closely with the doctors and clients to create and administer individualized nutrition plans to ensure sustainable success and wellness.
She is skilled in building trusted and transparent relationships with clients by joining them on their journey towards healthful living by fostering accountability and support through one-on-one health and group sessions.
Cinna is experienced in helping clients overcome metabolic syndrome, weight gain or loss, chronic fatigue, hormonal imbalances, type II diabetes, inflammation, irritable bowel syndrome, nutritional deficiencies, and other conditions. Cinna focuses on positive lifestyle and behavior modification, nutrition and diet, exercise, mindset and attitude renewal.
In her down time Cinna enjoys spending time with her family, going on a hike or to the beach to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. She enjoys jazz, the performing arts, salsa dancing, and time with friends.
Karolyn Dang, Wellness Coordinator
Karolyn serves as a Wellness Coordinator. She finds gratification in being the first to greet and welcome our clients, and takes pride in connecting with, and supporting clients in their wellness journey. Karolyn loves seeing others become empowered in their health.
Karolyn received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Riverside. She’s currently studying to earn her masters degree in Nursing with an emphasis in pediatrics.
Karolyn’s dedication to her own health and passion for fitness led her through sponsorship to become a certified personal trainer. When not in the office you can find her training at the gym. During the Autumn months, she enjoys watching her favorite hockey teams, the Los Angeles Kings and the Ontario Reign. She also likes to spend time with friends and family, listening to music, traveling and exploring the outdoors. She is also happy to snuggle up with a good book or movie.
Amy Sutton, Colon Hydrotherapist
Amy pursued training as a Colon Hydrotherapist after her own wellness discovery in 2003. She attests that through a series of colon cleanses, her digestion, fatigue, concentration, sleep, eyesight, skin, and mood improved, as well as her overall quality of life. She has practiced regular seasonal cleansing through colon hydrotherapy for over fifteen years and finds it a critical component of detoxification and wellness. Amy garners her love of teaching and sharing to help her clients reach a more well-balanced lifestyle.
Prior to turning her attention to health and wellness Amy worked as an executive manager. From retail to real estate, she developed and managed some of the top brands in our state.
Amy received her colon hydrotherapy certification from Living Waters, Inc., in San Diego. Amy attended Mt. San Antonio College, where she studied Business Administration. Amy is also a certified teacher in both Yoga and Pilates and enjoys offering a drop-in class at a park within our beautiful Inland Empire. Amy coaches and mentors’ professionals in achieving balance in career, family, and health. In her downtime Amy enjoys hanging out with her two sons at the beach or anywhere in the outdoors.
